From the GIVE graduates and golfers on the course to the volunteers, sponsors, and supporters behind the scenes, every person who took part helped create two memorable days in support of Iowa’s Veterans. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and continues to believe in the GIVE mission.
A Great Event for a Greater Mission
Hosted by Riverside Casino & Golf Resort at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course, the annual fundraiser brought the GIVE community together for golf, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to Iowa’s injured and disabled Veterans.
This year’s event welcomed more than 300 golfers, including 200 GIVE graduates, with the support of 55 generous sponsors.
Together, the event raised more than $155,000 for the GIVE Foundation!
Those numbers tell an important story, but the moments throughout the event say even more. Veterans reconnected with old friends and met new ones. Golfers and sponsors spent time with the people at the heart of GIVE’s mission. Volunteers gave their time to keep the event moving. Across the course, at dinner, and during the awards ceremony, the GIVE community came together around a shared purpose.
Why This Fundraiser Matters
As one of GIVE’s largest annual fundraisers, Blue Top Ridge helps support our mission throughout the year.
Funds raised help GIVE provide Iowa’s injured and disabled Veterans with professional golf instruction, accessible equipment, free and reduced golf opportunities, and a supportive community of fellow Veterans.
Through the game of golf, Veterans can learn new skills, stay active, build confidence, and connect with people who understand their experiences. Events like Blue Top Ridge help make those opportunities possible.
